Is your PC slow? Do you need some helpful hints?
Here you go.
1. If your HDD is getting full delete things you don't use anymore, or don't need.
2. Anything strange going on with your computer could potentially be a virus. Scan ASAP.
3.Defrag atleast once a month. [To find the defragging tool, search: Defrag in the search-box when you click on the windows icon in the lower corner] This could take a while an hour or more, be patient your PC is moving things to more reasonable please.
4. Computer overheating? Make sure the fans are clear of all dust, and that your computer isn't up against a wall. A foot or two away from the wall is reasonable.
5. Every so often open CMD (Command Prompt) and run chkdsk if it finds any errors it will present them to you. To fix these run chkdsk/f it will fix these for you.
6. Make sure your parts are pretty new. Old PCs become outdated in less than 5-6 years. Buying a computer every few years can be a hassle. Build it yourself, when you're ready to upgrade buy the parts you want, and put them place.
