I want to make my avatar picture bigger...i resized it in Paint and it still looks the same.

If you're uploading it from your desktop onto CT it will resize because of the size limit. You can upload it onto a different website and put it in the offsite link box and it wont resize.

Thomas has set a limit on the avatar and I thank him for that, because
we do NOT want oversized pictures in posts.
