1 Sitely typos that I've noticed. Sun Jan 30, 2011 6:49 pm

So I was looking around the site and I noticed that, even aside from some of the users, there are quite a few typos, like with the smileys and even a few of the forums, so I'm just going to point them out.
First one that bugs me every time that I pass it:
The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] forum. Someone was a little apostrophe happy when they set up that forum, the apostrophe doesn't need to be there because it's not possessive. The computer doesn't own anything.
It reads: "Computer's"
It should read: "Computers"
Second is the description for the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] forum.
It reads: "Projects you did or working on."
It should read: "Projects you did or are working on."
That's just a small grammatical thing.
And almost ALL of the forum descriptions have too much capitalization. The only things that need capitalized are the beginning of the sentence and really important things, like names/countries/titles.
For example our dearest [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] forum reads:
"Spam, Flood, Old and Misleading Topics/Messages will be moved to this section."
When it should actually read:
"Spam, flood, old and misleading topics/messages will be moved to this section."
Better yet,
"Spam, flooding, misleading and old topics/messages will be moved to this section."
That just sounds better.
Onto smileys:
:farao: "Pharaoh" not farao.
:rendeer: "Reindeer" not rendeer.
"Smurf" not smerf.
:bom: "Bomb" not bom.
:affraid: "Afraid" not affraid.
:pirat: "Pirate" not pirat.
Also I noticed that there are two santa smileys and both of them ask you to use ":santa:" for them.
I don't know if that works or not, but I'd suggest changing one to :santahat: or something.
Thanks for your consideration, I realize that this is a bit of a long post, but there were quite a few typos and I felt like explaining them for whatever reason.
