Maggie, after a character known as Maggie the Cat played by Elizabeth Taylor (RIP) in the movie "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." My mother has a penchant for theatrics and always has, so it's no shocker that my name came from a character she liked in a movie.
I've yet to watch the movie, but she was a lovely, light-skinned, light-eyed, dark-haired character and wouldn't you know it, so am I. :P My hair isn't so curly though, haha.
